Classes and workshops

We deliver regular creative sessions in Govan and across Glasgow.

Monday Community Group

A gentle and welcoming session focused on movement, creativity and social connection. This group is open to adults who would benefit from a supportive and inclusive environment.

This programme is currently supported by the National Lottery Community Fund.

Saturday Ensemble

A more focused creative group exploring physical theatre techniques and devising work together. Participants develop confidence, physical expression and creative ideas over time.

This programme is currently supported by the National Lottery Community Fund.

Our Approach

Our work is movement led and rooted in physical theatre practice. We focus on expression through the body, using simple prompts and structured exercises to support creativity.

Sessions are designed to be accessible and adaptable, allowing participants to engage in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful to them.

Wellbeing & Dementia Work

Loop Theatre delivers creative wellbeing sessions for people living with dementia in day centre and community settings.

These sessions combine movement, music and reminiscence to support connection, communication and emotional wellbeing.

We use simple and familiar stimuli such as music, rhythm and imagery to encourage participation and interaction. Sessions are flexible and responsive, allowing people to engage at their own pace.

We work closely with staff and support teams to create a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

This work is currently supported through the Glasgow Wellbeing Fund.

Being involved in Loop is great fun both for me and my daughter. It is lovely to see her growing in confidence and ability due to the nurturing environment that is Loop Theatre Company.
